Play Ball…..

Fenway Park Mural  Fenway Park Mural2

Any Boston Red Sox fans out there?

I have painted several murals now and can say after this one anything is possible! It was a MONSTER….the Green Monster in fact. I think Drew is one lucky little boy to have such a cool room!

Everything is painted by hand. The letters and numbers are so graphic that the proportions had to be exact so that it looks real.  It took over 20 hours in all!

Sports Fan Mural!

Does anyone have a toddler who pulls down artwork or anything on the wall above the bed? A mural is a fantastic solution. This mural is about 4' by 3' and a perfect fit for a future athlete. It is all hand-painted with acrylic paint and took about 10 hours!
Thanks Holly and Paul for great a great idea for your little man! It was fun.

A 3-D Underwater Scene

My good friend Marie, ordered several fish paintings for her children's playroom. She wanted me to take inspiration from a fish mobile she and her husband got on their honeymoon in Hawaii. So I had the crazy idea to paint an underwater mural scene on the wall and have the canvas fish on the mural to give an aquarium feel. (Thankfully she trusted me and said okay...let's do it!) The end result stunned us all! IT IS SO COOL. I could go on and on, but I'll just say once again....
I love the endless possibilities. I love to paint!
